      Are you looking for a MInnesota adventure?  Click on our Northern Minnesote resort website.   In the last week we have gotten 8 more inches, and then 14 more to top it off.  We keep trying to get some of our outside work done but alas, we can’t get outside.   So, we have started to do a project I have wanted to do for a while.  Yesterday we started ripping the cedar walls off the pool area.   The pool  was completed 20 some years ago by the Kohl family, and since nothing much has been done to the area.  We are ripping off the walls, running them through a planer and reattaching them.  We will be double sealing the wall once they are back up.  We are really concerned about the ice out, and getting the boats and docks in the water.

   Deb is trying to find upholsterers, as she is getting new cushions on 10 chairs and futons.  She also just ordered new silverware for all the cabins.  The spring cleaning is progressing just fine and she will be done shortly.  

    The loons and ducks are all over the place, but there is nowhere for them to go cause of the ice. When it snows the robins go to the areas that I snowplow, and they sit on the exposed gravel.  They and some of the migrating birds must not like sitting on the snow.
